About Retro Console Club

Retro Console Club is a passion project built by someone who’s been gaming since the Amiga 500 Plus days. I’m Ben, a 40-year-old retro gaming enthusiast who’s owned most consoles released since the mid-1980s, and I created this site to share honest reviews, practical buying guides, and helpful tips for fellow retro gamers.

My Gaming Background

My first console was an Amiga 500 Plus, and from there I’ve collected and played on nearly every major (and many obscure) consoles released over the past four decades. I’m not just writing about retro gaming from research, I’ve lived it, owned the hardware, dealt with the quirks, and experienced the joy (and occasional frustration) of keeping classic systems running.

What This Site Offers

Console Reviews: Hands-on reviews based on real ownership and gameplay experience, not just manufacturer specs.
